- the neck has a pronounced bend, the occipital plumage resembles a comb;
- the chest is wide and strongly developed, the brisket is bare;
- on the developed powerful back the plumage is rather rare;
- short wings have exposed terminal bones;
- a rather long tail is constantly lowered and slightly bent;
- the legs of the bird are rather long and powerful, have sharp spurs, the back finger is surely pressed to the ground;
- unacceptable quality of this breed is the heel joint, strongly curved outward.
Black or black is considered the norm in the color range for this breed in combination with shades of red, gray, piebald and wheat.

Chickens of this breed are divided into three weight categories:

Egg production
