Dwarf white mushroom: edible or not

Often, mushroom pickers simply do not notice the nondescript mushroom under the interesting name dung beetle white. In this article, we will talk about what it is, how it is used in traditional medicine, whether it can be eaten and how to distinguish it from dangerous relatives.

Edibility

An inky white (shaggy or white inky) causes a lot of controversy, because in different regions people look at it differently. Today it is considered conditionally edible. For example, in Russia and Belarus, he is loved by mushroom pickers, in some western countries they are considered poisonous and refuse to be eaten, and in the Czech Republic and Finland they are considered a delicacy.

Important! You can eat only young mushrooms, in which the plates have not yet been stained.

Be that as it may, no examination has confirmed the presence of toxins in a white dung. In addition, the advantage of the fungus is that it often grows in large groups. Therefore, going to the forest in the season, it is impossible to return without a rich harvest. Stowers are used for cooking first courses, toppings, snacks and canning. They are tasty both in fried, and in a boiled look. Young mushrooms do not require pre-boiling, and some sources claim that at a young age they can even be eaten raw.

Important! It is undesirable to combine dung beetle white and alcohol - this can cause food poisoning.

The crop should be recycled a maximum of 2 hours after harvest, since the autolysis reaction is not inhibited even in frozen foods.
