Zekura is resistant to golden nematode, cancer, late blight, relatively high resistance to scab, leaf curl, rotting. Growing conditions

It is best to plant Zekura potatoes in the middle of May, when the soil is warm enough. This variety shows the best results when it is planted in the soil, where perennials, mustard and lupine were cultivated before.

  • Mandatory preliminary soil preparation: plowing, harrowing;
  • Landing is carried out in open ground, to a depth of 10 centimeters;
  • The distance between the seeds - up to 50 cm;
  • Seed pretreatment is not required;
  • Depending on the condition of the soil, it can be enriched with organic or mineral additives (humus, manure, sapropel, wood ash, peat, sawdust).

The Zekura variety is recommended for cultivation in central Russia, but even in Siberia and Kazakhstan it reaches technical ripeness by mid-August, 90 to 100 days from the time of planting.

Zekura also does not require special care.. The main ones are timely weeding and loosening after watering or rains. Weeds are removed in June, then - as needed. At the beginning of July it is worthwhile to pile up the bushes of potatoes, which will allow to keep moisture longer and will help the formation of a compact nest. Potato storage
