Crimea will increase the production of milling wheat

Andrei Ryumshin, Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Crimea, said on February 21 that in the next two years Crimea plans to increase production of 2 and 3 wheat varieties. According to him, last year a good grain harvest was produced in the region, however, mainly 4 and 5 varieties of wheat dominate in the crop structure, but today these varieties of grain are not in great demand in the market.

Thus, further production of 2 and 3 wheat varieties demanded on the world market will be developed in Crimea. In addition, domestic bakery manufacturers need high-quality grain. Crimean farmers must implement all the necessary agricultural work to get a good harvest of wheat, the minister said.
