According to a political and economic expert Vsevolod Stepanyuk, the abolition of the moratorium on the sale of land will lead to a decrease in the employment of rural residents and a sharp drop in the production of the agricultural sector. "The abolition of the moratorium on the sale of land will lead to the privatization of shares, according to the same scheme that our industry was privatized. That is, it will be theft of assets and land. And this will be done by foreign companies or criminal groups," said Vsevolod Stepanyuk. According to the expert, there are not enough votes in the Verkhovna Rada to lift the moratorium on the sale of land. “I don’t think that the parliament will vote for the lifting of the moratorium. After all, there is no majority in the Rada, will support this government initiative. In addition, Ukraine does not have legislation that regulates the sale of land. Canceling the moratorium without creating legislation will simply lead to plunder of the land. that the opening of the land market may occur this spring, "- said Vsevolod Stepaniuk.
Recall that the deputies appealed to the Constitutional Court to lift the moratorium on the sale of agricultural land. Appeal to the Constitutional Court sent for signature 55 deputies.
