Raspberry Super variety berries are distinguished by their super-density, aroma and pleasant notes of muscat. The peel is thin, when eating almost imperceptible. And, despite this, the berries do not crack and do not fall prematurely.

It is important to note that "Raspberry Super" is not particularly picky about weather conditions, therefore, it retains its taste and product qualities even in the central part of Russia.

Growing regions

Growing "Raspberry Super" is possible in regions where the average daily temperature in winter does not fall below -25 ° C. It is important to understand that this temperature limit can already harm the plant, therefore, if the temperature drops below 20 degrees below zero, the vine must be insulated. Recommended regions for growing a variety are: the whole territory of Ukraine, the Crimea, the Krasnodar and Stavropol Territory, the Rostov Region, the Saratov Region, Moldova and the southern regions of Belarus. For growing the variety is also suitable the whole of the middle zone of Russia.

Using

"Raspberry Super" is a frost-resistant grape variety, which is why many gardeners in our country grow it. Filled with a huge amount of vitamins berries with high taste is best to eat fresh. They ripen quickly, but after that they can hang on clusters for a long time, acquire a bright crimson color and become saturated with fructose. For 30-45 days (starting from the end of August), ripe berries can be eaten, the rest will continue to hang on the grapes until October.

To frost-resistant grape varieties "Kishmish", "Lancelot", "Chameleon", "Blagovest", "Ilya Muromets", "Sphinx", "Harold", "Helios", "Elegant".

This grape variety can also be used to make jams, compotes, jams and wines. On its basis, an excellent dietary baby food is obtained. In addition, "Raspberry super" after proper processing can be a great raisin.

Important! If you plant "Raspberry super" in a shady place, then the color of the peel will be pale.

How and where to plant on the site

"Raspberry Super" is a photophilous grape variety, so it should be planted on the south-west or west side of the site. The distance between the trees should be at least 3-6 meters (depending on the root system of the plants). Do not plant a grape bush in the pits where moisture will constantly linger. This circumstance will lead to an increased risk of fungal diseases.

Planting plants can be made both in spring and autumn. During the spring disembarkation, it is necessary to make sure that the night frosts have already moved away. In central Russia, experts recommend planting work no earlier than mid-May, while in the southern regions it is possible to plant a grape bush in mid-April. Autumn planting should take place no later than the end of October, but be careful, as early planting can lead to fruit ovary, and this will be the first step towards the death of the plant.

Once the site has been selected, proceed with site preparation. First, a hole is dug up, measuring 80x80x80 cm. At the bottom you need to arrange drainage (you can use crushed stone or broken brick). Drainage is covered with a fertile layer of earth, the thickness of which should be 15-20 cm. Then 7-10 buckets of humus are placed on the bottom, all this is powdered with several buckets of fertile soil and trampled down. Now you can put a sapling on the bottom and sprinkle it with soil. After planting around the seedling should be a hole for watering. In it you need to pour 2-3 buckets of not very cold water. In the future we should not forget about the constant watering, mulching and loosening.

Features of growing

An important process at the cultivation stage is the timely pruning of shoots that are not fruitful. These shoots must be removed regularly, as they pull a lot of nutrients onto themselves, which ultimately leads to a reduction in yield and deterioration in the quality of fruits. On processes that are well developed, it is necessary to leave 10-12 eyes. During ripening, leaves are formed on the hands, which should be removed as far as possible, so that the clusters can receive more solar heat.

Did you know? In Portugal and Spain, in the last minutes of the old year, under the chiming clock, all people eat grapes, while making wishes.

We should not forget about regular watering, which takes place every 2-3 weeks (if there is no rain in the region for a long time). A day after watering, the soil needs to be burst and mumble with straw, peat, humus or leaves that have fallen from the trees. To prevent varietal diseases, the vine is treated with chemical solutions that can be purchased at any garden center. In regions where the winters are constantly harsh, the root system of the bush must be warmed. This can be done by simply placing snow (up to 50 cm high) around the root of the plant.

Terms of ripening

Amateur gardeners note that "Raspberry Super" is an early ripening grape variety. The first harvest can be harvested as early as 90-95 days after the fruit is set. In the case of a cold summer or other adverse weather conditions, the ripening period may be delayed by 1.5-2.5 weeks. I would also like to note that "Raspberry Super" can begin to bear fruit in the first year after vaccination. True, the berries will differ in black and green, but the taste is not particularly affected. In the second or third year, all varietal characteristics will return to normal.

Pros and cons varieties

"Raspberry super", like any other grape variety, has its advantages and disadvantages.

Among the advantages it is necessary to note the following:

  • Good yield and high taste of berries.
  • Unpretentious care and increased resistance to adverse weather conditions.
  • Versatility in the application.
  • High level of transportability and marketability.
  • The rapid ripening of berries.
Among the shortcomings of the variety are the following points:

  • Resistance to fungal diseases is average. This means that if the bush grows in constantly wet soil and care will be bad, the risk of fungal diseases will increase dramatically.
  • Permanent enemies of the grape berries of this variety are wasps, which are attracted by the bright color of the grapes and the sharp pleasant honey aroma. That is why in the process of ripening should be careful with the collection of clusters and eating berries right on the bush.
As you can see, there are few defects in the variety, and even those are insignificant, especially if you properly care for the bush.

Important! Stop watering the vine for 7-10 days before the expected flowering. Otherwise, excessive moisture may cause the color to fall.

Based on the foregoing, we can conclude: "Raspberry super" is one of the best grape varieties currently cultivated by the domestic breeder. With proper planting and careful care of the bush, you can get a large amount of high quality crop. And so any other grape variety is unlikely to be able to please you with its fruiting.
