Many poultry houses are faced with a situation where geese begin to show unusual aggression and tweak or even bite each other. Why geese tweak each other
One of the reasons that geese pluck their relatives, may be the lack of free grazing. During the walk, the birds are constantly looking for what to eat - from grass to insects, and in the absence of grazing they are taken as the nearest neighbor. How to solve this problem:
- organize regular grazing of birds in the warm season;
- include in the diet of birds, especially chicks, boiled eggs, cottage cheese and other protein sources;
- hang cabbage leaves, bunches of greenery or bright rags in the house so that the goslings can pinch them;

- to bring into line with the needs of the birds the nutritional value of the feed, providing the required amount of protein, calcium, salt and fiber.

- to organize the living space of birds taking into account the minimum norm - per one square meter of area not more than 10 individuals up to 1 month old, up to 4 chicks at the age of 1-2 months and not more than two birds at an older age;
- comply with all requirements for conditions of maintenance and care of birds;
- if possible, arrange a red light for the house, which discourages chicks from nestling to pluck each other;
- add to the diet of birds different sources of protein, including fish oil and bone meal;
