The first tractor-driven UAV was launched in the USA

The American company John Deere, in the framework of a new research project from GridCON, launched a new type of agricultural equipment that is controlled without a pilot, but with the help of neural networks and intelligent network infrastructures.

The tractor-drone system has already been tested by scientists at the John Deere European Technology Innovation Center in Kaiserslautern, Germany.

The agricultural machine of the new generation does not have a cabin for the manager, and takes power from the cable that is connected to the network. According to the company, farmers who actively use "clean" energy sources (solar, wind), can connect the tractor to them.
